How my design process works
From our first phone conversation, to completion of the project, here is what you can expect. During our initial phone conversation I will ask you what you want to have done, your design style, your colors, if you have any pictures, and what your budget is. This conversation will formulate for me what your needs are. I will then come to your home and give you a one hour design consultation, and portfolio presentation for a fee of $75. If you decide to contract with me, the $75 fee will be deducted from your final balance. My project minimum for any job is $600.
Once we have met and I have formulated a design concept for you, I will mail to you a firm quote for the work to be done. Upon receiving my project quote, if you decide to go forward, give me a call to make arrangements for a second meeting with prepared samples in your desired finish and coloration, and to set up a date for the work to be done. I require a monetary deposit, of 1/3 of the total amount of the project, with your copy of my contract in hand before I prepare any samples. I will prepare 3 sample boards for each project.
When the work is completed, I require payment of the final balance due upon immediate completion of the project. The time frame for any project from initial call to completion takes approximately four to six weeks.
