Starting in 2007, Brushwork Studios will teach a series of decorative painting classes at Lost Mountain Paint in Marietta, Georgia.
The series of classes called the Color Focus Design Series will focus on just that…color and design. Each faux finish class is color driven, rather than technique driven. All of the finishes taught within each class will coordinate and can be layered to create a total room design concept. Each class will offer a combination of wall, cabinetry, and trim finishes, using Benjamin Moore colors. The colors chosen for the classes are from 2007 color trends selected from color forecasting groups. The selected colors are Wythe Blue, Citron, Passion Fruit, Clinton Brown, and Universal Black.
These classes are well suited for someone who is a bit unsure of putting together color concepts. The level of classes ranges from the beginner just starting out, to the intermediate finisher who has had some experience painting faux finishes. These classes are also great for experienced finishers who want to come in for a quick one day class to learn coordinated finishes in the latest color trends.
